In our ongoing spiritual journey through the Apostle Paul’s breathtaking epistle to the Ephesians, we frequently arrive at passages that shake us out of our spiritual lethargy and force us to examine the very foundations of our Christian walk. In part 55 of the expositional series titled Transformed in Christ, delivered at Grace Gospel Church, Pastor Sam Merigala brought us back to the heart of God's design for the local church in his sermon titled "Until We All Grow Up". In one direction lies the comfortable, consumer-driven path of "spectator Christianity"—a subtle shift where churchgoers gather quietly in comfortable pews, consume spiritual content, evaluate the music and message, and leave the real labor of gospel ministry to a small class of paid professionals.
